In order to use this product safely, please only rest the tip of the lit product on the butter tab. The butter tab is ceramic and completely safe to rest lit products on, including the divets on the walls. Damage can occur to the piece if lit products are not rested on the butter tab as the syrup is epoxy. Ash should have minimal effect to the epoxy but can release fumes, please use in well ventilated area.
